An essential part of Pörssi’s activities is carried out by its committees, teams, officers, clubs, and active members. They make it possible to offer higher-quality and more diverse activities for all members of Pörssi. Now you have a great opportunity to get more deeply involved in our student organization by applying to Pörssi’s clubs. At the same time, you will develop valuable skills that are highly relevant for your future working life.
The application period for Pörssi’s clubs opens January 19th and applications will be accepted until Sunday January 25th at 23:59.
If applying to a club sounds even slightly interesting—or even if it does not—come to Selkkari on Wednesday January 21st from 11:00 to 12:15 to ask the clubs about their activities or the application process.

PörSip (2 positions)
Founded last year, PörSip aims to bring together wine enthusiasts of all levels in a relaxed setting. The club focuses on increasing wine knowledge with a low threshold for participation. Activities include wine tastings, educational sessions, and future excursions. Like other clubs, PörSip also actively participates in Pörssi’s events throughout the year. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced wine hobbyist, you are warmly welcome to join.

PörSki (4 positions)
PörSki is a ski club founded in 2019, aiming to organize skiing opportunities and ski-related events for Pörssi members, as well as to represent Pörssi at various events. The club’s activities are divided into responsibility areas: finance, communications, events, and excursions. Each year, we organize the popular Surfing and Alps excursions, focusing on student-friendly pricing and careful planning. During freshman weeks, we actively participate in events in the true Pörssi spirit and take part in sitz projects and other student events, with the goal of strengthening community spirit. PörSki offers an excellent opportunity to combine skiing, travel, and great experiences with fellow students.

Pörssi Investment Club – PörssInvest (3 positions)
The investment club organizes finance- and investment-related professional events for Pörssi members. The club promotes students’ knowledge and competence in investing. Events include guest lectures and excursions to companies in the finance and investment sector. In addition, there is room to create new events based on your own interests—so you are given quite a free hand in shaping the activities.

Pörssi Golf Society – PGS (4 positions)
The purpose of the Pörssi Golf Society is to organize golf-related events for Pörssi members, catering both to experienced golfers and to those who are new to the sport. The annual calendar includes, for example, the traditional Pörssi Masters, Green Card courses, and simulator evenings during the winter season. Naturally, we are also involved in freshman weeks and other Pörssi events throughout the academic year.

Pörssi Disc Golf Club – PAR (4 positions)
The purpose of Pörssi’s disc golf club, Alarauta, is to organize approachable disc golf activities, communicate and develop recreational opportunities, and help members find throwing companions among other Pörssi members. The club is also actively involved in Pörssi’s activities, for example during freshman weeks. As a club leader, you will have the opportunity to organize events, participate in Pörssi’s activities, and play disc golf in a relaxed environment.
The club is seeking new leaders for the year 2026. Areas of responsibility include finance and Kide.app, events and corporate relations, and social media. When applying, you do not need to know which responsibility area you prefer; these will be agreed upon within the team later. Responsibilities will be assigned after the selection process with the new team, and additional roles may be distributed based on applicants’ interests.

Pörssi Sailing Club – PörSail (5–6 positions)
Are you interested in sailing and organizational activities?
PörSail, the sailing club of Pörssi ry, is looking for new team members. Founded in 2020, PörSail has, from the very beginning, aimed to bring together students interested in sailing and to make sailing accessible with a low threshold for participation. We cooperate with Jyväskylä Sailing Club, which enables us to offer sailing opportunities in Jyväskylä.
