The Allstars teams play a vital role in Pörssi’s activities. Being part of Allstars allows you to gain an inside look at Pörssi’s operations, learn valuable skills, and build friendships that extend even beyond your own student organization. You’ll have the chance to express yourself and gain valuable experience that will surely benefit you in the future.
Who can apply?
Any Pörssi member! No previous experience is required to apply or participate in these roles. As long as you
have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, you’re already well on your way! Please note that the position
lasts one calendar year and requires your presence in Jyväskylä.

We are hosting a “Meet the Teams” evening at Pyynikki Brewhouse in Jyväskylä on Monday, 10 November, starting at 18:00-20:00. This is an excellent opportunity to talk to current team members and ask questions about Allstars work. Come chat with us!
How to Apply to Allstars
2. Send a free-form application by email to pj@porssiry.fi by 16 November at 23:59, with the subject line “Allstars 2026 application + the team(s) you are applying for” (e.g., “Allstars 2026 application Event Team and Project Team”). In your application, mention the roles you’re interested in and why you would be a good fit for them. (Note: Applications will not be visible to members.)
3. Based on applications, the current and incoming board will invite a selected number of applicants to a second phase. These shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in weeks 47 and 48. The interviews will primarily be conducted in person, but remote options can be arranged if needed.
4. After the interviews, the current and incoming board will decide on the new Allstars team based on applications and interviews.
5. By 14 December, all applicants will be informed of the decision by phone.
6. Selected members will be onboarded for their roles either before the end of the year or at the beginning of the new year, depending on availability.
7. The official Allstars term begins on 1 January 2026.
Pörssi’s divisions Include:
Events division (6 members)
The Events division assists the event coordinators in planning, organizing, and executing Pörssi’s events. This team is responsible for organizing events like Vappu, freshman week, and planning and executing the traditional “Sillis” event. Team members get the chance to both develop existing and create new event concepts.
Division of Social Politics (4 members)
Division of Social Politics works closely with the head of social politics to promote the wellbeing of Pörssi members through sports, environmental initiatives, cultural events, and international activities. The team consists of two sports coordinators, one environmental coordinator, and one international coordinator, each with specific responsibilities:
Division of Educational Politics (3 members)
In addition to attending meetings, the team assists the academic affairs representative with their tasks as needed. These tasks include participating in various working groups and organizing academic events. An important advocacy role is to support the academic affairs representative in gathering and processing feedback from students. The subject representatives maintain regular contact with the faculty of their respective disciplines and, when necessary, inform students about decisions that concern them, thus acting as a bridge between JSBE and Pörssi.
Project Team (4 members)
The Project Team supports the head of projects in planning, organizing, and executing Pörssi’s traditional “Rinnerieha” and annual ball. Team members take on specific responsibilities for each event and get the opportunity to both enhance existing and create new event concepts.
Media division (9 members)
The Media Team works under the media and communications coordinators, with tasks including photography, creating graphics and banners, generating social media content, and managing the website. Alongside the coordinators, the team contributes to Pörssi’s communications. No prior experience is needed, making this team an excellent place to develop skills in visual communication, social media, and marketing.

Division of Corporate Relations (4 members)
The Corporate Relations Team assists the corporate relations representatives in securing the best opportunities for Pörssi members. The team handles partnership agreements for events, oversees overall sponsorships, manages the Sininen Pörssi benefits program, and helps develop members’ career readiness. This role provides excellent opportunities to build connections in the corporate world and gain relevant work experience during studies.
