Who was your biggest childhood idol? Was JVG a big thing? Does anyone remember Lady Gaga anymore? Wanted to act like Tom Cruise? Now you have the chance to jump into the boots of your idol for one night in the Fuksiaiset 2023. So grab something that reminds you of your idol and head to the Agora lawn on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 1:45 p.m.!

Fuksiaiset is the event that ends the freshmanweeks. In the Fuksiaiset the freshmen tour memorable checkpoints around Mattilanniemi, getting to know new friends and enjoying the spirit of the Pörssi. The event starts at the Agora lawn, where the Freshmen are divided into teams led by our older students.

There will be an unprecedented spectacle full of surprises, without forgetting, of course, great prizes. At the end of the evening, the Freshmen get to put on their white glowing overalls for the first time and swear the traditional Pörssivala at Harju.

Please note that the day will be long. So it’s good idea to take a small snack with you. The event also works on the principle of bringing your own drinks and consuming them is allowed if you wish.
