The most important lesson of the year is here—the Freshman Sitz! Here, you’ll learn the Sitz etiquette and dive into traditional university culture with the help of experienced Sitsit-goers. Don’t worry—we’ll teach you EVERYTHING, so no prior knowledge of Sitz is needed. Sitz is an academic dinner party where you eat, drink, and sing under the guidance of toastmasters. Every Sitz has its own theme, and this one is Childhood Idols. So put on your superhero cape, Smurf hat, or princess tiara and head to the most important and fun lesson of the fall. It’s worth mentioning that not dressing according to the theme is highly frowned upon. WE’RE ORGANIZING TWO SITSIT SESSIONS, YOU CAN ONLY ATTEND ONE! Overalls are not worn at Pörssi’s Freshman Sitz.
